Hi there, I'm Lisa Radu, the creative director and owner behind Aspen.
Florals and Styling Events are my lifes passion.
I studied as a floral designer while expecting my 3rd son in 1996 which led me to opening my first Floral Studio - Aspen Springs Florist in 1997.
My career as a florist took a drastic turn when I was hit by a drunk driver in 2001, following a long painful recovery, skip ahead to closing the business and co-managing my 3 sons band, Beyond the Sun, from 2003-2014 when my niece who was a wedding planner at the time, asked me to be her wedding florist and business partner. The rest as they say is history... I started Aspen Florist in September 2014 and started the bridal show circuit , in 2015 I took a wedding intensive workshop with Holly Heider Chapple and became a Chapel Designer which is a an international collective of wedding and event floral designers. Since then we've flowered hundreds of weddings and events.
I have continued my floral education through workshops, mentorships & masterclasses w/ Holly Heider Chapple, Steve Moore, Jamie Kotval of Pristine Floral & Joseph Massie to name a few.
My husband and our 3 sons have become an integral part of my company assisting with everything from building flower bars to event installations and set up, content creation, floral purchasing, processing to delivery.
We also have an incredible team of floral designers, freelancers and flower lovers including my future daughter in law working hard behind the scenes and inside Pink Lemon Decor to spread joy through our flowers.

When we made the decision to choose Lisa as our florist for our wedding we knew we had made a fantastic choice but we didn't know how much she would surpass our expectations!! She was a dream maker!! I had big plans for my wedding and I didn't know if anyone would be able to pull it off and she did so much more! Lisa listened and met me and my family many times to make sure everyone was on the same page. She made me feel comfortable and prepared so I was able to let go and trust my ideas were in good hands. But then the day came and I was floored with how wonderfully beautiful everything turned out. She made my trees come to life out of the poles of my wedding tent. She brought the bouquets out of my head and made them more amazing to walk down the aisle. She added in every way to every aspect and every detail with the most amazing arrangements.
