A Deer Creek Wedding to Remember

Paige & Michael tied the knot last September and what I wouldn't give to go back in time right now to that gorgeous day. Paige was such a sweetheart right from the beginning and it was an honour to create her dreamy wedding designs alongside some of our beloved wedding professionals.

I can't emphasize enough, how important it is to work with a team of vendors that understand your vision and work well with another. As you will see below, Charlotte McGarry from Rosenlee Photography truly knows how to tell a love story. I am a huge fan of her work and my heart skips a beat when I see how she captures our designs.

Then theres the lovely Johanna Leigh from Johanne Leigh Weddings and Events and this girl takes every event she touches and raises the bar to new heights over and over again. If you want your wedding to run as smooth as glass without having to give it a second thought, I highly recommend you hire Johanna, plain and simple. She's a master in her field and we adore working with her too!

Paige and I met more than a year before her wedding. At that time they were planning a romantic garden style wedding in Parkwood Estate followed with a industrial chic reception at a brand new local brewery that was still under construction at the time. We were in sync right from the start and had the vision locked in, until a month or so later when Paige & Michael finally had a site tour and realized the brewery space was nothing like they had imagined it would be. Although they were disappointed, they decided to pivot from their original plan. They moved their wedding date and changed venues, they were also able to coordinate with all their vendors and a new improved plan was born.

Deer Creek Golf & Country Club is known for its granduer and classic romance. We made a few modifications to the floral plan with adding in more soft romantic blush and white blooms throughout along with a few lush greenery accents to the linen backdrops they had sourced from our friends at Annie Lane to set it all off.

As the big day grew closer, we learned we had another connection to this sweet couple that we didn't know when they first booked. Michael's brother in law works with my husband and they realized it just a few weeks before the big day. I don't believe in coincidences do you? I think these two wonderful souls were meant to be in the Aspen Family right from the start and I am just so honoured to show you how beautiful it all came together, take a peek!

Congratulations Again ~ Paige and Michael...I will never get enough of your beautiful wedding!
